Dear Rao
The issue isnt that, it is regarding the problem of readings transferred to the other measuring points which have transferred support.
Let me use an example:
The main engine has 4 components. Main Engine is having a measuring point and the 4 components have 4 individual measuring points which has reading transfer from main engine. When I create initial measurement reading for main engine, the same reading is transferred to the 4 components and all have same measurement reading. This transfer takes place every time we create a measurement reading is recorded for main engine, When an PM order for the component is issued for a particular PM plan at a particular reading, the measuremnt document is created for this component measuring point during TECO of order. now this measuring point reading is diffrent than the main engine. Further when we create a measurement doc for main engine, system takes the difference in that document (of main enginee) and creates the subsequent docuemnts for 4 components by adding the difference to the last measurement reading (Total reading) of those 4 components and creates new document with new total reading. Because of this behavior the total reading of 4 components can reach far beyound the main engine reading which is totally wrong.
Please create this test case and try.
Is this standard behavior?
Can you explain why such behavior in SAP ?
