Yes you are on Windows, 701 release, Unicode, With Patch 111 (kernel release). Yes you can folllow the note and do the upgrade.
Also you can try upgrading the kernel if you want.
Please make sure that you do the kernel upgrade starting from Sandbox, DEV, QAS, (Pre-prod If you have) and then on approval in PRD.
Always keep your kernel level n-1 (as suggested).
